Volunteers needed to participate in LGBTI workshops

UN for All continues to organize training workshops to bring greater awareness of LGBTI issues and definitions, and the duty stations coming up are in Côte D’Ivore, Turkey, and Afghanistan.

Each workshop has a segment where participants get to ask questions to a person who identifies as LGBTI, which has consistently been evaluated as one of the most influential parts of the training. If you would like to be this person, please contact ohrm_globe@un.org to be put in touch with the local coordinator.

Participate in AIDS Walk in New York City on Sunday May 20

For 21 years, United Nations colleagues in New York City have mobilized to participate in the New York AIDS Walk, raising money to support many community-based HIV service organizations in and around New York City. This is the team's 22nd year.

AIDS Walk New York is a 10-kilometer walk or run through Central Park and the Upper West Side. United Nations staff can participate as a part of the United Nations Cares team - by participating in person, donating or raising funds. All can be done through the team page on the AIDS Walk New York website.

In 2018, AIDS Walk will take place on Sunday, 20 May. Those who register to join the team will receive full details.

Let us demonstrate to New York City – and to UN colleagues around the world –our continued commitment to address HIV and the many related human rights issues.
